Something To Share

I want you to know me

and I want to know you. 

In that case, may I say

something must be shared.

My mind isn't for sale,

you'd think I'm so vain

let me show you where's my pain.

All I aim is having something to say,

the legacy of my words is the one to stay.

I want you to know me,

but I need a minute or two 

forgetting what I've become isn't easy this time.

My castle's still under the sand,

the one where your name used to shine above the sun.

I want you to know me

and I want to know you,

it won't be the same as it was

I now know where i'm from.
